Brewed in collaboration with the homies at Roughtail Brewing Co. from Oklahoma City. Brewed with a festive variety of fruity hops, cinnamon, vanilla, milk sugar, and for an extra kick of holiday cheer, we added 10lbs of fruitcake to the mash!
Sour - Ale · 7.8% ABV
A blend of five different oak-aged mixed culture sour ales, refermented in oak puncheons for three months on over 2 lbs/gal of raw butternut squash and pumpkin. Next it was transferred onto roasted butternut squash, sea salt and palm sugar before bottle conditioning for an additional three months. Not your average pumpkin ale, no "pumpkin spice" was used in this beer, only raw pumpkin and squash. Earthy and complex, and a perfect pairing to the rich and savory foods of the season.
Blend: 38% golden foeder ale, 37% amber foeder ale, 20% chardonnay brett barrel pale, 5% port barrel strong dark ale.
