The Matchsellers' Bluegrastronauts Band is old-time in outer space. It's a far away galaxy as close as your first cousin. It's a 100,000 mile an hour horse-and-buggy.

Since 2013 Andrew Morris and Julie Bates, better known as the Matchsellers, have traveled the US and Europe developing their brand of off the wall bluegrass & old-time music. In 2017 they began collaborating with two of the Midwest's finest musicians, Chad Graves and Betsey Beymer. Graves is one of the country's finest dobro players and has been featured in high-profile publications such as Rolling Stone, The Bluegrass Situation and many others. Beymer is a sought after bassist from Lakin, KS.

Together the 4-piece combines absurdity, authenticity and excellent musicianship to create a performance that is representative of the present age. They are pleasantly stuck between the best aspects of bygone years and the best of the future.

FRIEND OF A FRIEND - Bottle Release

March 10, 12pm

Friend of a Friend - Wild Farmhouse w/ Kansas Peaches - 6.6%

After pulling Contrails w/ Peaches off of last years fruit, we were left with a beautiful slurry of peaches full of yeast and bacteria, both wild and from our fouder, which on its own tasted incredible, but promised more magic... So we pitched a base of Belgian pilsner malt, spelt, and raw Kansas wheat and allowed it to ferment and age for 7 months. The results are an extremely complex beer, with rich, jammy peach notes throughout.

Doors open at 12pm, dedicated line for bottle sales. $14/bottle day of release, $15 post release. Special tappings! LIMIT 5 bottles per person.

For this release we are reserving 500 of the 1500 bottles for online pre-sale, to allow those who can't make the release party an opportunity to purchase bottles. Bottles purchased online will be available for pickup beginning March 10th, and must be picked up by April 10, by you or an appointed trustee. Follow this link for more details.
